Engineers recently tested a flying bicycle called the F-Bike. They used a remote control to pilot the bike around in the air. The F-Bike was able to lift-off, hover in air, steer and land during its five minute test ride.
On July 1st federally subsidized student interest
loan rates are set to double.
Today concerned college students join President Obama to convince Congress to keep this from happening. Obama is seeking to lock in the interest rates for college education borrowers.
Congress' decision will effect whether students are able to get an affordable college education. Currently, many struggle to pay off college loans. Thisadds financial stress and the inability to live the American dream that a college education is supposed to provide. A college education is a vital asset to get a well-paying job, therefore this is not an issue to be taken lightly.
The cost of college education is a concern to students, families and the economic growth of the country as a whole.

Student loans allow students to get an education that might not be affordable otherwise. Many take on debt for career opportunities that a college degree provides. Currently student loan debt in America hails at over one trillion dollars. Surpassing credit card debt and automobile
debt.
Yet, escalating tuition costs coupled with interest is preventing many from enjoying the quality of life that a college education was supposed to provide. Many are finding it difficult to keep up with the loan payments. Falling behind on payments and wrecking their credit as a result.
The Student Loan Fairness Act wants to help. The SLFA would forgive student debt if they have paid 10% of their
discretionary income for 10 years towards their student debt. Interest rates would cap on federal student loans
at 3.4%. Also, people can have their debt forgiven in 5 years for working in the public service sector.
The Student Loan Forgiveness (Fairness) Act is an attempt to help. Read more info > click here.

Education is an important part of a young person’s life. Yet, a recent update indicates that our current educational system is failing
Studies find that 1 out of 4 Americans do not earn a high school degree on time. Compared to many foreign countries, we have fewer students completing college. Our students are not as adept at new technology compared to many foreign students.
To resolve this problem, its been suggested that the school year is extended from 180 days to 220 days. That we should increase teacher salaries. Several strategies have been mentioned but nothing has been done to have a major improvement on our educational system.
