Trevor Foster a sixth grader at Clifty Creek Elementary (Columbus, Indiana) wears a pink mohawk to support his mom who is receiving treatment for breast cancer. But he never expected it to create problems at school.
So when Principal Cynthia Frost said he couldn't try out for the basketball team because of his hairstyle, he was shocked.
This didn't go over well with Trevor's friends and it started a facebook campaign. The school board got into the action and the principal apologized and Trevor can now try out for basketball.
Wow the power of facebook. Maybe I should start a facebook campaign to get my science teacher to make my grades better. Hmmm....
