The show once deserved praise for being bold and unapologetic, but as it enters its eighth and final, it loses its pluck. The finales, known to contain pulsating cliff hangers, no longer make a do-or-die impact because it’s the same character trying to survive. However, slightly killing off the Botwin was the only logical step and would mean more if she didn’t cheat death way too many times before.
The creator, Jenji Kohan, does not know how to fully drift the story to another character—the bulk of the first episode in its latest season was fixated on the motionless Nancy Botwin in a hospital with conversations revolving around her.
Even though the MILF weed was more poignant during the first six seasons, the unpredictable wonder for how the show is going to last another 12 episodes and the possible awesome series finale will be its potency.

The first half of The Amazing Spider-Man devolved into a mere introduction of the origins of the character and how he comes to understand and get used to his powers. Basically what we already saw from Sam Raimi’s first Spider-Man flick. Instead, a continuing adventure would suffice since the rest of the film, which embodied that, was certainly “amazing.”
Fine performances from Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone added freshness to the commercial dialogue, in a world where God-wannabe lizard Dr. Curt Connors, believes that the city would benefit from perfection. Despite the lack of rawness, some of the scenes, like Connors’s arm reflecting through the glass making him believe he has two arms and when the cranes moved to create a swinging path for Parker to save the city, were awe-inspiring. In the end, the line, “but those are the best kind,” which reiterated Parker’s will to break the promise he made to Gwen’s father about not seeing her again, could have been a more solid ending point than the last minute of the film.
