Sunday night, Shaun White laid down a victorious perfect lap and took home his fifth consecutive superpipe gold.
He scored a perfect 100 on his third and final run.
"It's unreal. I've been wanting that 100 forever," White said.
Despite a left ankle injury that forced him to withdraw from the slopestyle competition, White scored a 94.00 on his first run and wiped out on his second run, but no one could catch him. He was followed by Iouri Podladtchikov who finished second, and followed by Ryo Aono.
This win makes Shaun White the third Winter X five-peat athlete.
